Erica Reid, OT, (occupational therapist) began her career in medicine almost twenty years ago working with top veterinary surgeons in Florida all the while teaching animal behavior at the local college. Erica transitioned to working with people after earning her Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Florida. The choice to pursue Occupational versus Physical therapy came as a result of the increased focus on the “whole body” and the psychological elements of the former.
Erica has had the good fortune to work in multiple cities and with multiple patient groups including stroke and spinal cord injuries, children in the school system and the elderly. Along the way she discovered myfascial release, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy as well as pilates. Erica applies her vast experience to educating and treating both the bodies and the minds of her clients to relieve their discomfort and maximize their potential.
